DU QUOIN MIDDLE SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Builder's Club will be presenting The Northern Lights Glow Dance on Friday, April 8th. The 5th and 6th grade dance is from 5:30 - 7:00, and the 7th and 8th grade dance is from 7:30 - 9:00 pm. Cost of admission is $5.00. You don't have to be in Builder's Club to come to the dance, but you must be a DMS student. There will be pizza, chips, soda & candy available to purchase at the dance. Please bring smaller bills to the dance on Friday night so that we don't run out of change.
Next week is Spring Fling Week; Monday- is"Bee" Nice Day (Wear Black/Yellow), Tuesday- DQ Spirit Day (Warrior/Indian Attire), Wednesday- Say "Ahola" to Kindness (Hawaii/Vacation wear), Thursday- Color War every grade level wears a different color (5th: Blue, 6th: Orange, 7th: Purple, 8th: Pink)
Sign up today outside of Mrs. Prather’s room for the Bags tournament that will be happening during recess all next week.
Any DMS student interested in designing the front page of the yearbook will need to turn their designs in to Ms. Marek by April 14th. See the signs in the hallways for more information, Also, Yearbook will have a meeting in Ms. Marek's room Friday morning around 7:45. Check in with your homeroom teacher first.
The homerooms in the lead for April are 5th grade Mrs. Krone, 6th grade Mr. Heape 7th grade Mr.Davis, and 8th grade Mrs. Prather. The grade level in the lead is 5th grade.
