Today’s Lunch:   Tortilla chips, cheese cup/salsa, yogurt with granola, and fruit

Tomorrow’s Breakfast:   Muffins, fruit, juice, and milk

Tomorrow’s Lunch:  Ham and cheese sandwich, slaw, and fruit

Reminder, Arrow High is offering homework help and additional tutoring from 7am-7:30 in Mr. Jones' room Monday through Thursday. If you are in need of homework help or tutoring while remote, please let Ms. Kelly know. 

Just a reminder that you can get WiFi at the following locations:  IE Parking Lot, Public Library, and the Parking Lot in front of New Wave.

SENIORS:  ALL seniors are required to complete the FAFSA or sign and return the ISBE waiver form as a graduation requirement. Please complete the FAFSA or return your signed waiver form as soon as possible. Thanks!

The city will be accepting applications for lifeguards and concession workers until March 26th at 4:00.  Applications can be picked up and turned back in at the city water office.

Juniors: There will be an additional SAT Practice opportunity on Tuesdays leading up to the SAT. The first practice will be today from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in Ms. Fisher's room. Please see Ms. Fisher if you have any questions.

The LAST day to reserve your copy of the 2021 Flashlight yearbook is Wednesday, March 31.  Paper order forms are in the office or go to www.balfour.com.  Late orders will not be accepted.  

This week is our celebration of National School Breakfast week. It will run through the end of the week Friday, March 19.   The breakfasts this week do highlight a couple of new items on the breakfast menu.    The cafeteria will be placing small prizes in breakfast bags every day throughout the week.  Be sure to check your bags thoroughly.

Baseball workouts this week:

Tuesday 3/16 - @ 3:30 (football players need to throw on their own)

Thursday 3/18 - @ 6:00-7:30 in Theobald

Congratulations to the DHS Scholar Bowl team on winning both regionals and sections over spring break.

Student Council Members:  We will have a meeting on Wednesday of this week at 7:45 am in the Library.  If you cannot make the meeting, please see Olivia Dill or Mrs. Robison.

Seniors--If you did not order a senior shirt--YOU must let Mrs. Stacey know ASAP.  If she does not get your shirt size, you will not get a shirt.  No extras will be ordered.  This must be done by Wednesday.  

Friends of Rachel Club will have a meeting at 7:30 in the Library on March 24. We will be discussing Day Without Hate activities. If you are unable to make it see Ms. Kelly for information.

Anyone who has a Chromebook on loan from the school will need to return the Chromebook to school no later than Wednesday of this week for ‘A’ day students and Thursday of this week for ‘B’ day students.

Football and Volleyball pictures for the yearbook and newspapers are Wednesday, March 17 starting at 1:05 with volleyball in Anders Gym.  Football pictures will follow at 1:20 on Van Metre weather permitting.  Anders Gym will be the alternative location.  There will only be team photos and senior pictures.  No photo packages will be available.

Hype Squad t-shirts are in!  T-shirts have been delivered to all the English teachers and can be picked up during your English hours.  If you happen to be a full remote student, you can pick shirt orders up in the office.  Thank you for ordering and have a Hype day!

This year's homecoming game is scheduled for Saturday, March 27th which makes next week SPIRIT WEEK!

JUNIORS- Mrs. Miller is looking for FOUR students to work the concession stand this Saturday for the football game against Williamsville.  Please see Mrs. Miller ASAP for details and to sign up!

FFA Activities:   Student Luncheon for B-Day - Students will get a free lunch to thank them for all their hard work throughout the school year. 

FFA Dress Day:  ‘Merica Monday (Dress up in red white and blue) Help us celebrate that FFA is a National Organization that reaches from the states of Alaska to the Virgin Islands and Maine to Hawaii 

FFA Scavenger Hunt: Horticulture/Plant Science

Wednesday

FFA Activities:  8th Grade Day - FFA members will visit with all 8th grade students to present the opportunities and advantages being in agriculture classes and the FFA Organization. Students will be making butter and playing leadership games. 

Dodgeball Tournament - Hosting a Du Quoin High School Dodgeball Tournament between clubs at 6 PM in the Auxiliary Gym. 

FFA Dress Day:  FFA Apparel Day - Dress up in your FFA official dress, chapter t-shirt, or Blue & Gold - In 1930, the FFA Organization adopted National Blue and Corn Gold as Official Colors of the FFA Organization

Mullet Day- Dress with Business on the top and Party on the bottom. (Suit Jacket and Tutu) - The FFA shapes individuals to be future leaders but all while having fun and creating friendships.
