Next week will complete our return to school plan with all 4th graders returning in person 4 days a week. As a reminder we do have in person attendance this Friday, Nov. 6 and next Friday, Nov. 13 for our students. With the shorter day, the use of these Fridays may become a model we adopt to gain more instructional time. The return to learn in person is going well and it is wonderful to see our classrooms filled with the whole class.
The calendar has flipped to November so this is a great time to make you aware of the upcoming events:
Wednesday, Nov. 11 Veteran's Day - School Holiday
Friday, Nov. 13 - In person attendance for all students K-4
Thursday, Nov. 19 - Lifetouch Retake Picture Day
Wednesday, Nov. 25 - Friday, Nov. 27 - Thanksgiving Break
Monday, Nov. 16 - Thursday, Nov. 19 - American Education Week
Mon., Nov. 16 - Kickoff for Great Schools
Tues., Nov. 17 - Celebrating Parent as Partners
Wed., Nov. 18 - Let's Thank our Paraprofessionals (aides, secretaries, janitors, and cooks)
Thurs., Nov. 19 - Terrific Teachers

Lastly our character trait focus this month is Acceptance - our lessons will focus on appreciating and recognizing people for who they are, or as Mr. Rogers says, "There is no person in the world like you. And I like you just the way you are."
