Amanda has dedicated 26 years to education as a middle school 7th Grade English/Language Arts teacher, making a lasting impact on generations of students. A proud Du Quoin High School alumna, she has faithfully served Du Quoin Community Unit School District in a variety of roles, including 5–8 Title Reading, while spending the majority of her career inspiring students at the 7th grade Reading and Language Arts level.
She is a respected mentor, a strong advocate for faculty and staff, and—most importantly—a true champion for student learning and growth. Her passion for education and commitment to helping students succeed make her incredibly deserving of this honor.
✨ Fun Fact: Amanda’s favorite thing to do is spend time with her grandson, Sutton!
