Notice of Public Hearing
Notice is hereby given by the Du Quoin Community Unit School District 300 Board of Education in the County of Perry, State of Illinois, that a public hearing will be held on the district’s 2026-2027 school calendar. The District is choosing to exercise the flexibility for student attendance on Casimir Pulaski’s Birthday, Monday, March 1, 2027, by honoring the day through the use of School Activities on a School Holiday, in accordance with Section 24-2 of the School Code. A public hearing will be held on the 21st day of April 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the K-8 Media Center at 845 East Jackson Street, Du Quoin, IL.
