In the spring, the Du Quoin CUSD 300 Board of Education adopted a calendar for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year. Recent laws and the impacts of COVID-19 have since impacted that calendar. The calendar was amended and formally adopted at the July board meeting. Here are relevant dates for 2020-2021 in District 300:

  • September 7 - Labor Day - No school

  • October 12 - Columbus Day - No school

  • November 3 - Election Day - No school (This is the result of a recent law passed in Illinois.)

  • November 11 - Veterans Day - No school
