Email notification is being sent today confirming elementary and middle school students enrolled for the summer program beginning offered June 5 - 30, 2023. The Core Academy will focus on reading and math instruction for students entering 1st - 8th grades as recommended or required.
As for the summer enrichment camps, we have been able to enroll students in the summer camps as requested. Many of those camps are now full! Contact the program office, see below, if you are interested in any of these opportunities. We will enroll throughout the summer for open camps up the week prior to the camp beginning date.
We are currently awaiting bus routes and plan to reach out when those are available to provide more detail. We will have four routes with drop off at the DES/DMS Commons by 8AM. Car riders may use the front entrances. There is construction work being completed so watch for either the elementary or middle school doors to be open for entrance each day. All students, academic classes and camps, gather in the commons for drop off and dismissal. Our schedule is:
8:00-8:30 Breakfast - free for all students through the Summer Foods Program
8:30 - 11:30 Camp or Class instruction
11:30 - 12:00 Lunch - free for all students through the Summer Foods Program
*Menus will be available on the website and app on the dining section.
