Spanish Club is an extension of Spanish class. The club is designed to explore the cultural and historical backgrounds of  Spanish speaking cultures. Spanish club is sponsored by Mrs. Rebecca McCrary. Besides from being the Spanish teacher, she is also a member of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese.


Spanish club participates in El Dia de Los Muertos (The Day of the Dead) in October.

Spanish club also participates in Cinco de Mayo (The fifth of May), which celebrates the Spanish forces unlikely victory against the French forces at the Battle of Puebla.

These activities provide students with cultural and historical backgrounds of Spanish speaking countries.

Spanish club also holds fundraisers to donate to the American Heart Association and to provide one student a year with a scholarship to college.
