The Carterville Junior High Cross country meet will be held at Carterville High School.

Order of Events:
o 3:45 PM Coaches meeting @ the starting line
o 4:00 PM JV Girls Race
7th grade and under
o 4:15 PM JV Boys Race
7th grade and under
o 4:30 PM Varsity Girls Race
o 4:45 PM Varsity Boys Race
Distance: JV course is 1.34 miles and Varsity course is 1.80 miles
Awards:
Individual Awards: Top 10 individuals from each race will receive a medal.
Special Instructions: Be advised that the course will consist of grass, gravel and pavement. In addition, adults will placed throughout the course to assist and monitor the runners.
Bus Instructions: Buses should drop students off near the shot put ring on the west side of the High School. After dropping off, proceed to park in the Carterville High School student parking lot.

Scoring: 7 Runners per team, 5 runners will be scored for team score
Course: JV – .9 miles Varsity – 1.8 miles
Awards: Team trophies, Medals for top finishers, certificates for all runners
Concession: Drinks and Snacks
