Seniors, please come to the office to fill out graduation diploma information.  This will be the name you want to appear on your graduation diploma. This should be your given full name because the diploma can be used as a legal document.

Seniors:  I.O.O.F. scholarship applications are now available online at www.ioof-il.org with a due date of March 1, 2019. Applicants need not be affiliated with the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, but must be a resident of Illinois and a citizen of the US.

Seniors: Marshall Browning Hospital Scholarship applications are now available in the guidance office. This is a $1,000 four-year scholarship that is awarded to a Du Quoin High School senior who plans to enter a hospital-related health care field and is enrolling full time in college immediately following high school graduation. Applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Deadline is March 1, 2019.  

Seniors: The IAA Foundation Scholarship Program has released their scholarship information.  They will offer 72 awards ranging from $1,000 to $7,500. Stop by guidance to check the various requirements.  

Juniors- Murray State University's Commonwealth Academy is now accepting applications for a 3-week academy on campus June 8-29.  Students must have a 3.5 GPA and an ACT equivalent score of 25 on either the SAT or PSAT. For more information, please stop in guidance.

There will be an informational meeting for all girls interested in track on Tuesday, January 8 in the auditorium during ELT.

The bus for the Waterloo speech meet leaves at 7:15 on Saturday.  Please verify your events at the window by Mrs. Coleman's door.

Du Quoin High School Theatre Department Presents High School Musical!  Auditions are in the auditorium. The auditions will take place over two days.  Wednesday, January 9 and Thursday, January 10. All students interested must audition on Wednesday.  Please wear something comfortable for this audition! Anyone who wants to sing or act will also audition on Thursday.  There are parts for anyone who wants to be a part of the show. It is not a requirement to sing to be in the show!
