The boys’ basketball team is selling Blackout t-shirts for the Blackout Cancer Game on January 12, 2019. Order forms are available in the office, and payment is due at the time you order. The last day to place an order through the office is December 17. You may also order online via a credit card through January 2, 2019. No later orders will be accepted.
Seniors: There is a new $2,000 Agriculture Scholarship available for seniors pursuing careers in agriculture. (Recipients receive $1,000 in 2019 fall semester and $1,000 in 2021 fall semester.) You may apply at www.farmcreditIL.com/scholarship. Deadline is March 1, 2019.
FCCLA members--The cook-off is just around the corner--This week--December 5th--cooking can begin after school and all items must be ready by 6:00 for judging. Categories include--appetizers, desserts, salads, side dishes, main dishes, and breads. You may enter up to 3 recipes--you may work in groups or teams. See Mrs. Stacey if you have any questions. The December meeting will be at 6:00 pm that night while judging is taking place--you will decide Sweetheart colors and theme. See you then.
FCCLA--toy bonus is due by Dec. 10th.
There will be a meeting today during ELT for students attending the Les Miserables at the Fox theater later in the month in Mrs. Dunavan's room. Final information about the trip will be provided. If you cannot attend, please see Mrs. Dunavan.
Foods II Cafe will be serving on Wednesday, Dec. 5th during 2nd lunch. Menu--Freckle Specials (Hot ham and cheese type sandwich) green beans, fruit salad and drink for $3.00. Make reservations with Mrs. Stacey.
