Today’s Lunch:  Ravioli, garlic bread, salad, and Craisins

Tomorrow’s Breakfast:  Biscuit and gravy, fruit, juice, and milk

Tomorrow’s Lunch:  Macaroni and cheese, green beans, celery with ranch, and peach cups

There are some extra playoff shirts in various sizes available in the office.

This week is our annual canned food drive.  This year Du Quoin High School is competing with other local high schools, like Mt. Vernon, Marion, and Carbondale in total items collected.  Please help Student Council in the food drive. Teachers will have a list of items needed in their mailboxes. Every item you bring in helps feed a local family in need.

There are class ring packets in the office for any student who may not have received one last Wednesday.  There are also senior packets in the office for any senior who did not attend the Balfour meeting last Wednesday.  The Balfour representatives will be back today during lunch to take orders for class rings and to get cap and gown measurements from seniors.

Freshman concession stand workers needed for basketball season.  Sign up in Mrs. Miller's room. There are only a limited number of games and spots.  If you wish to earn credit, sign up soon!!

Today after school from 3:15-4:15 we will be offering a fitness/PE program.  This program will be Mondays-Thursdays. This program will mainly consist of weight lifting but will also include speed and agility, yoga, and other aspects of fitness.

Eiffel bonbons sales have started.  French club has blue raspberry, green apple, watermelon, and strawberry.  See a participating French club member for your purchase. They make an excellent Christmas present.  If you eat them at school, please dispose of your trash in the trashcan and not on the floor.

The first Foods II cafe will be Wednesday, November 7th.  Serving 2nd lunch only. Chicken Alfredo, salad, garlic bread, dessert and drink for $3.00.  You must make reservations with Mrs. Stacey.

The next FCA meeting will be Friday at lunch.  Cost for pizza and soda is $3. Please sign up with Coach File or Coach Boyett.

There will be an NHS meeting @ 7:30 a.m. Wednesday in Mr. Jones' room.

There will be an Engineering Club meeting @ 7:15 a.m. Thursday in Mr. Jones' room.

Juniors & Seniors:  A representative from Millikin University will be here Thursday, November 8th at 9 am.  If you are interested in learning more about Millikin, a private four year university located in Decatur, IL please sign the list on the bulletin board in guidance to attend.
