FCCLA Members--The October meeting and pumpkin decorating contest will be on October 24th.  Pumpkin decorating will begin at 3:30 and all pumpkins must be done by 6:00 PM. The October meeting will be at 6:00 PM.  Make plans to attend--put it on your calendar! Also, please pick up your RADA orders.

The next FCA meeting will be today during both lunches.  Freshmen will meet with Coach Boyett in the Driver's Education classroom, and soph-seniors will meet with Coach File in Mrs. Stacey's room.  Cost for pizza and drink is $3. Please sign up with Coach File or Coach Boyett.

Seniors:  If you need some individual assistance filling out the FAFSA please come sign up in guidance to schedule a time to meet with the ISAC representative.  She will be available to meet with you Wednesday, October 24 between 11-1.

Students attending the Les Miserables trip to the Fox in December, your final payment and permission slip are due to Mrs. Dunavan today.

French club members interested in making French macarons on Thursday Oct 25, the sign- up sheet is on Mrs. Dunavan's door.  Please sign up if you plan to attend.

Our male teachers at DHS raised a total of $338.69 for the Coach Kill Foundation.  Mr. Boyett is our Pink Prince by collecting a total of $212. 84. Mr. Brown came in 2nd with a total of $50.26 raised.  Mr. Jones came in 3rd with a total of $30.49 collected. Thank you all for your participation and support!

Juniors and Seniors:  If you are interested in learning more about Illinois College sign up in guidance to attend the presentation next Wednesday, Oct. 24th at 9:30.

Juniors and Seniors:  A representative will be here from Southern Indiana University next Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 11:00.  Sign the list in guidance if you are interested in attending.

There will be a French club meeting in Mrs. Dunavan's room, Tuesday, Oct 23 at 7:30am.  We will finalize the French club t-shirt, discuss Eiffel bonbon candy sales, Tree of Lights and National French Week.  Please attend with your passport for a stamp.

There will be boys’ basketball open gym today from 3:30 to 4:30 in Anders Gym.

Tryouts for girls’ basketball will begin Monday, October 29th. All girls interested in trying out must have a physical and insurance information turned in by the time of tryouts.

Girls’ basketball open gyms next week will be Monday and Thursday after school.
