Today’s Lunch:  Walking taco, corn, and fruit

Tomorrow’s Breakfast:  Banana split yogurt parfaits, fruit, juice, and milk

Tomorrow’s Lunch:  General Tso’s chicken, rice, kung fu carrots, fresh broccoli, and fruit

On Wednesday, March 25th Driver Education students can attend the Williamson County Traffic Safety Days field trip in Marion.  Students will get free lunch and a T-shirt. Any student in Driver Education this school year (2019-2020) is eligible to attend the field trip.  Students must pick up a permission slip in the office and have it signed and returned to Mrs. McPherson by Tuesday, March 17th. *Only the first 55 students to sign up get to attend. 

There will be a quick Varsity Scholar Bowl meeting during ELT today in Mr. Summers' room.

There will be a short boys’ basketball meeting today in Anders Gym after school for all Freshman through Seniors that were on the basketball team this year.

Art Club meeting Thursday after school, we will continue to work on the art show.

There will be a meeting for all girls’ basketball players today during ELT.  We will vote on awards and turn all equipment in at this time. 

The next Education Rising meeting will be held this Thursday, March 5th during ELT.

The next FCA meeting will take place this Friday during both lunch hours.  Please sign up with Mr. File or Mr. Boyett. Cost for pizza and drink is $3.

There will be a NHS meeting on Wednesday @ 7:30 a.m. in Mr. Jones' room.

There will be an Engineering Club meeting on Thursday @ 7:15 a.m. in Mr. Jones' room.

Seniors- A new scholarship from the Italian Club is available in the guidance office.  Please stop in and pick up a copy or for more information.

NATIONAL SCHOOL BREAKFAST WEEK - MARCH 2-6, 2020 

Du Quoin Community District #300 offers school breakfast daily. We offer fresh fruits, low fat dairy products and whole grain options to complete a nutritious breakfast each day. It's a proven fact that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. When having a nutritious breakfast, it improves attendance, decreases tardiness and behavior. Students have better attention and memory and score higher on tests. The cafeteria will be celebrating national school breakfast week with special menus each morning for breakfast. 

• Wednesday, March 4: Banana Split Yogurt Parfaits 

• Thursday, March 5: Menu to be announced. Voted on by Mrs. Davis' and Mrs. Craft's class our coloring contest winners. 

• Friday, March 6: Powdered Donuts 

Assorted Fruit, Milk and Juice every day along with main entrée.
