Today’s Lunch: Walking taco, confetti beans, and fruit
Tomorrow’s Breakfast: Breakfast taco, fruit, juice, and milk
Tomorrow’s Lunch: Chicken strips, mashed potatoes with gravy, carrots, and fruit
Tryouts for the spring musical Beauty and the Beast will be this week. Vocal and acting auditions will begin at 4 on Wednesday, January 8. Call backs (if needed) will happen on Thursday the 9th. If you are interested in a vocal or acting part, sign up on the door of room 116 (Mrs. L. Coleman’s room). Sign up times are for 5 minutes only. Auditions for dance and ensemble parts will begin at 5 pm on Friday, January 10.
HOSA will be sponsoring a formal dress consignment sale on Saturday, January 11th. If you have dresses, special occasion shoes, jewelry, or flowers you would like to include in the sale please see Mrs. Dean or any HOSA member for more information.
Students who are coming in to sing on Wednesday for the Beauty and the Beast tryouts should have something prepared to sing. You will need to bring your music with you. You will also be asked to read a monologue. You should turn up 15 minutes early so you can view the monologue before your tryout time. Auditions will be held in the band room. Plan to wait in the gym until you are called.
There is no speech practice this week. Speech practice will resume on Tuesday, January 14.
HOSA will be meeting on Wednesday at 3:15 in the nursing office. Please see Mrs. Dean if you are unable to attend.
Still looking for the perfect dress for Sweetheart or prom? Make plans to shop the formal dress consignment sale this Saturday from 10 am until 2 pm in the nursing office. Special occasion shoes and jewelry will also be available. See Mrs. Dean or any HOSA member for details.
Attention all FBLA Members who are attending Southern Area Conference on Thursday, January 9: There is a mandatory meeting today at 6:30 p.m. in the Driver's Ed. Room.
Friends of Rachel Club will have a meeting next Wednesday at 3:15 in the Library. We will begin planning our big event for April so please attend.
Starting this semester Arrow High will be offering Choir. There will be an interest meeting on Tuesday January 14th at 3:15 in the band room for anyone who would like to join. Choir will meet on Tuesdays afterschool during this semester.
Baseball workouts will be outside today at 3:30.
There will be a short book club meeting on Tuesday, January 14 during ELT in Ms. Mabrey's room.
