Dear DES Families,
We appreciate all the families who scheduled conferences this week for their student. If you have not met with your teacher, please contact them to set up an appointment. We are striving to meet with 100% of our families, knowing how important our collaboration is to your student’s success at school.
Next Tuesday, Nov. 5 is our DES Family Reading Night from 6-7:30. The 3rd grade teachers have worked hard to organize this unique, special event for all Papoose families in the elementary school. We will have photo opportunities with story book characters from Mo Willems’ books, special guest readers, and every student will receive a free book and cookie snack to take home at the conclusion of the event. PTO is supporting our event and making
supper easy on families, by providing a fish and chicken dinner which will be in the commons at the elementary beginning at 4PM until 7PM.
