Today’s Lunch:  Softshell taco, confetti beans, and Raisels

Tomorrow’s Breakfast:  Breakfast pizza, fruit, juice, and milk

Tomorrow’s Lunch:  Country fried steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, carrots, and fruit

The after school program is looking for Juniors and Seniors who are members of FCCLA, NHS, FBLA or another leadership club who would be interested in tutoring during the after school hours. If interested, see Ms. Kelly.

Have you purchased your Flashlight yearbook yet?  Order your book before Thursday, November 7 to be entered to win one of ten gift cards.  Order forms are on the stand outside the office. The book price will increase in January.  

Juniors and Seniors:  A representative from Murray State University will be here today at 10:00 am. Please sign the list in guidance if you would like to attend.

Tryouts for girls’ basketball will begin on Monday, November 4th. Girls who plan on trying out must have a physical and insurance form on file with the school. We will have open gyms on Tuesday and Thursday this week from 3:30 to 4:30. Also, if anyone plans to try out for basketball but hasn’t tried on shoes, they need to see Coach File as soon as possible.

Student Council is hosting a Halloween Costume Contest on Thursday, October 31.  Themes will be: Best Group, Cutest Couple, Most Creative, Funniest, Most Original.  If you want judged, please stop by the table in front of the media center on October 31st between 7:30am-and 8:00am.  School dress code applies!!!

Cookies will be sold during 5B lunch on Wednesday and during 5A lunch on Friday. 

Youth Club flag football coaches need to see Amy Atteberry for a t-shirt.

Spanish Club is showing The Book of Life in the auditorium today at 3:30.  Anyone is welcome to join.

Attention DHS- Many of our sports teams are in the postseason!  Get your spirit items to cheer on your favorite team! Pep Club is selling red 'DQ Rally Rags' for $2 and small, red 'DQ Cowbells' for $3.  To pre-order your items, stop by Mrs. Miller's room TODAY! Money is due at the time the order is placed and supplies are LIMITED! As always, ROLL TRIBE!

HOSA will be meeting on Wed. 10/30 at 3:15 in the nursing office.  Please bring supplies to make posters for HOSA week.

There will be no afterschool the rest of the week due to parent teacher conferences.

Spanish Club will be baking “Bread of the Dead” this Saturday from 8 a.m. – 12 noon in the commons.  Sign-ups are in Senora’s room (room 209).

There will be NHS Induction Rehearsal for all new members on Friday November 1st after school in the commons.
