Dear DES Families,
Next week is a busy one at DES! We will have our after school program, Arrow Academy,
on Monday only. There are parent-teacher conferences on Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 5 PM-7:30 PM and again on Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 3:30 PM-6:00 PM. Finally, we dismiss on Oct. 31 at 11 AM, please be cautious as student leave the school building.
We’ve had several questions about costumes for the parade next Thursday, Oct. 31 so here are the guidelines once again:
No bloody or violent disguises
No excessive makeup
No play weapons
No masks or face coverings that create a safety risk for walking in
the parade
If you signed up to assist with a fall party, please park in the back of the school. We will have the doors open during party times and will have the volunteer sign in table set up on the Papoose. Please do not park in the front lane, which is our bus lane to keep it clear for bus traffic.
