DU QUOIN MIDDLE SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Starting on Monday during your lunch hour, the Builder's Club will be making and selling bracelets for $1.00. All the money will go to the Du Quoin Food Pantry as a cash donation, so help us earn lots of money to help the community of Du Quoin!!
Those Builder's Club members who would like to work making bracelets may sign up at the end of the 5th-grade hallway's bulletin board. We will have 8 sign-up spaces per day for each grade level.
For the Month of October, the homerooms in the lead are Mrs. Krone’s class with 100% attendance, Mr. Heape, Mrs. Pheiffer and Mrs. Montgomery’s class. The grade level in the lead is 5th grade! Keep up the good work!
Science Club meeting is today at 3:15-4:00 in Mr. Hicks room.
Scholar Bowl tryouts will be held this week. Scholar Bowl is open to 7th or 8th grade students only. You do not have to be in high reading or high math to try out, but all classes must have an average of a B-or better to make the team. All areas of expertise are needed math, science, literature/grammar, history, sports and pop culture. Bring a pencil to Mrs. Montgomery’s room on Thursday, October 10th during the first few minutes of lunch to try out.
No School on Friday.
Word Squad will meet Thursday in Mrs. Small's room. Bring addresses for the Veteran's Day appreciation letters if you have them. Beauty and the Beast Escape Room updates will be posted!
Student Council check the door by Mrs. Mathis’ room for names being spelled correctly on the T-Shirt.
If any art club member would like an art club shirt please bring $15 to Mrs. Campanella by Weds!!! Also make sure she knows your t-shirt size.
