Reminder: The FFA Blood drive is coming up on Wednesday, September 25, 2019. Please make sure if you want to give blood, sign up with an FFA member or sign up in the office or in your classrooms. If you are 16 years of age you will need to have your parents or legal guardian sign the waver that enables you to donate. You can pick those sheets up in the office as well. Nearly 21 million blood components are transfused each year in the U.S

Reminder Blood Drive: You will need a form of ID on the day of the blood drive to be able to donate. A Driver’s License, Foid Card, or Student Transcript will work.

Teachers and Staff: If you have a blood drive sign-up sheet, please turn that into Mr. Huntley’s mailbox in the office no later than September 24th!  Please and thank you.

Blood Donors that are 16 years of age.  Just a friendly reminder, please don’t forget to have your parent/guardian complete a Blood Donor permission form.  These permission forms can be picked up in the DHS office, and/or obtained from each teacher. You may turn your form in to the office prior to the blood drive or bring it with you at your appointed time on Wed. Sept. 23rd.

Blood Donors surpassing the age of 16.  Just another friendly reminder. Those donors wishing to give blood are REQUIRED to provide a proper form of identification- Driver’s License and/or FOID cards work well.  These cards have not only your picture, and your full name on them but more importantly you’re DATE OF BIRTH. DHS School I.D. cards will not work! DHS student forgetting their proper identification may however request a copy of their high school transcript from our office staff.  Your transcript has your date of birth on it.
