DHS Announcements May 2, 2019

Today’s Lunch:  Cheesy breadsticks, salad, peas, and fruit

Tomorrow’s Breakfast:  Egg and cheese biscuit, fruit, juice, and milk

Tomorrow’s Lunch:  Chicken patty, broccoli with cheese, carrots with dip, and fruit

There are tickets for the Foundation Dinner for sale in the office.  Tickets are $15 each.

Seniors:  Please stop by guidance and fill out the scholarship folder or turn in your list of the scholarships you have received to Mrs. Gross-Woodside.

Seniors: Once you have determined where you will be attending college please stop by guidance and sign the list stating where you want your FINAL transcript to be sent.  

Arrow Academy is looking for junior or senior members of FBLA, FCCLA or NHS to tutor in the after school program with 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. These are paid positions. Please contact Miss Kelly if interested in any of these opportunities to set up an interview.

FBLA Awards Night will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 7:00 PM in the commons. Family is welcome.

Senior girl athletes, come to the office to see Mrs. Hirsch regarding the sports banquet.  

The DHS Art Show will be Saturday, May 4th from 4:00- 5:30 PM.

Students interested in joining student council next year can pick up a petition from Mrs. Robison.  Petitions have been extended until Friday.

Art Club will be meeting after school today to continue work on the art show.

2019 Annual Girls All Sports Banquet and Dinner, Monday, May 20th at 6:00 pm in the DHS Commons.  Admission is free for female athletes, coaches and former winners. Everyone else - $10.00. Please RSVP to Denise Hirsch at dhirsch@duquoinschools.org or 618-542-4744 ext. 2155.

FBLA members need to vote for 2019-2020 officers in Mrs. Gross' room beginning on Wednesday, May 1 and will end on  Friday, May 3 at the end of ELT.

Attention French club: The last meeting of the year is Thursday, May 9 after school in Mrs. Dunavan's room.  Please have your passport turned in by Monday, May 6. We will draw for end of the year prizes and talk about activities for next year.

Come support the Du Quoin FFA Chapter tonight, Thursday, May 2 at the Carbondale Culvers from 5-8.

SENIORS: If you will be joining the military after graduation please see Mrs. Gross-Woodside in the guidance office by Friday. Thank you.

The Choices class will do cookies during 5A and 5B lunch today.
