The current Du Quoin High School was finished in the fall of 2012 and dedicated in the fall of 2013. Construction began in the fall of 2010 and stands on the existing property of the old high school. District 300 Superintendent, Dr. Kelly, (pictured below) helped dedicate the new building. Du Quoin High Schools was formerly called Du Quoin Township High School.

The Magnavox created an iMovie of the construction process that was viewed at the dedication night where the community could tour the building.
