Snow Routes 2012-2013

(Snow routes will affect bus times)  Any questions call the bus garage at 542-5012.  Ask for Tracy Taylor.

 

Bus 1 Seal/Sue Taylor

Will run on Highway 51 North and Rt. 154, City Lake and Sunfield. Will not go down Hardscrabble Rd.  Students need to catch bus at Hwy. 51 stop sign. Will not be able to go into Bell Lane.  Bus stop will be at mailboxes on Bell Lane.  Will not go into spillway, students will have to picked up at Bishop Ln. stop sign.  Will not go down Burning Star #2 Rd.

 

Bus 5 Snake/Sally Crain

Will run on Kimmel Rd.  Students on Gladson Rd., Bluebird Rd, Kimzey Rd, and City Lake Rd. Ruffing’s, Valier, & Hood children need to catch bus at Kimmel & Thornbush stop sign. 

 

Bus 6 Giraffe/Cliff Colbert

AM route will run east on Rt. 14.  Stop at old and new 14.  Bell child & students on Blacksop will need to come to stop sign where old & new 14 meet.  Continue east on new 14 to Crabapple Rd.  Those students on Crabapple & Acorn Acres will need to catch bus at Crabapple/New14 stop sign.  Continue east turning left on old 14 heading west to Old DQ blacktop.  Alvis children picked up there. Continue north, children on Mine & Majestic Rd. will be picked up at stop sign on Old DQ/Majestic intersection.  Continue North to Jackson St. then to school.  PM route  Will run on Old DQ Rd. Students on Majestic Rd & Mine Rd. will need to get off bus at Majestic Rd. Stop sign.  Will go east on Old Rt. 14.  Will go west on new Rt. 14.  Students on Crabapple Rd., & Acorn Acres, will need to get off bus at new Rt. 14 & Crabapple Rd.   Students on Blacksop Rd. will get off bus at stop sign at old Rt. 14 & new Rt. 14.

 

Bus 4 Sheep/Kim Mathis

Will run on Kathleen Mine Rd., only to Green’s Mrkt. Rd. stop sign at these 2 intersections.  Students on side roads need to catch bus at that stop sign.  Will go down Rod & Gun Club Rd. if no drifting has occurred.

 

Bus 8 Monkey/Denise Harrison

Will run on Highway 154 & 51 North.  Will  run on Eagle Rd. and Hitt Rd. if  no drifting has occurred. Students on Bailey Ln. will need to catch bus at stop sign at Rt. 51. N. James will come out to 154.

 

Bus 9 Butterfly/John Stanhouse

Will not go into Cherry Lake or N. Oak, or concrete area in St John’s (Oak St.)  All students in these locations need to catch bus at Porter’s Foods parking lot.  Will run in all other locations.

 

Bus 10 Turtle/Leon Kelly

Will not turn into My Ty Subdivision, students will need to catch bus at Johnson house on Hwy. 51.  Will not run on Sweetgum Rd.  Students will board at Arrowood Est. Rd. stop sign.  Will not go on Six Mile Creek Rd. students need to meet at stop sign at Greens Mrkt. Rd.

 

Bus 13 Shark/Jack Cavins

Will not run on Greenwood Ave.  Students will have to come to stop sign on Howell & Franklin, and Howell & Olive, Howell & Poplar, Howell & South, Howell & Main stop signs.  Will not go on Six Mile Creek Rd.  Students need to meet at stop sign at Greens Mkt. Rd.

 

Bus 12 Dinosaur/Nancy Ragland

Will not go down Brickyard Rd. or Holly Rd.  Those students need to catch bus at the stop sign on Holly Rd. Brickyard Rd. children will be picked up at Liacono’s stop sign.  Will not go west down Sassafras.  Students at that location will catch bus at Park/Davisville stop sign.  Will not go down Elderberry Rd.  Those students will need to catch bus at stop sign on Park St. Rd. 

 

Bus 11 Lion/Lillian Rains

Will not go down Lazy W Rd.  Students need to meet bus at stop sign on cemetery road.  Cudgetown Rd. students need to meet at Highway 152 stop sign.  G. Culpepper, A. Gassel, K. Kellerman and Greenwoods’ will need to meet at Hwy. 152 stop sign.

 

Bus 2 Chicken/Homer Rains

Bus 6 Murphysboro & Carbondale/Sue Simmons

Bus 40 Special Ed/Tracy Taylor

Will run as usual.
