4th Annual Jim Booker Memorial Golf Scramble
To be held at Red Hawk Country Club on
Friday, August 6, 2010
The District #300 Educational Foundation will be holding its 4th Annual Jim Booker Memorial Golf Scramble fundraiser at the Red Hawk Country Club on Friday, August 6, 2010. During the 2009 event nearly $10,000 was raised for the Foundation’s scholarship and classroom grant programs. Prizes this year for the 4 person scramble event will include gift certificates (courtesy of Lee’s Sports) for Closest To Pin for men and women and for Longest Drive for men and women. Hole In One opportunities include chances to drive a Ford Fusion free for 2 years (courtesy of Vogler Ford) and an opportunity to win a free spa (courtesy of Jackson Pools and Spas). Last year 16 teams participated in the event with 43 regional and local businesses providing their supporting for this worthwhile event. The scramble begins with registration at 8:30 a.m. followed by a 9:00 event start. In addition, lunch will be provided for each golfer with refreshments provided by Pepsi MidAmerica throughout the day. In addition several donated gifts and prizes will be given to each participant. The District #300 Educational Foundation continues to express its sincere appreciation to those individuals and businesses that support this successful event to benefit the students in District #300 by “Investing in Our Future”.
